Day 1: Arrive to Kathmandu (1300m)
Pick up at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.  You may explore Kathmandu city if time permitting. Local guides are also available. In the evening, meet group for a trip briefing.
Day 2: In Kathmandu (1300m)
After breakfast, we set out for a guided tour to the holy sites of Kathmandu includes Pashupatinath temple and Boudanath stupa. For lunch back to hotel, and after lunch make final preparation for Kailash tour. Our Kailash support staff will assist you in buying or renting the missing gear.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Nyalam/Gyirong (3700m)
We start our journey today early in the morning at 5:00 AM by bus and stop for breakfast at Dhulikhel after 35km drive from Kathmandu. We drive to Nepal/Tibet border along the Bhote Koshi river valley for 3 hours. Lunch at border and proceed for immigration process at Friendship Bridge. After the clearance of customs, we continue drive to Nyalam with the crew of Tibetan guide and drivers. Overnight at local guest or hotel.
Day 4: Acclimatization day at Nyalam/Gyirong
This day gives us a chance to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude in Nyalam (3700m). It is important to stay hydrated and extremely aware of your body's physical condition, which the staff will monitor at all times. Overnight at guest house.
Day 5: Nyalam to Dongba (4500m, 420 km)
Breakfast at Nyalam and start drive to Dongba. In between, we stop for lunch. You will have a very scenic drive that crosses high passes, lake, great pastures, rivers and small towns. La lung La pass is greatest highlight of today drive, it offers great view of Mount Shisha Pangma (8012m) Overnight at hotel or guest house in Dongba.
Day 6: Dongba to Lake Manasarovar (4610m, 380km)
We follow usual tour routine, first breakfast and start drive to Lake Manasrovar. The drive is very   awesome past sand dunes, high passes, small market, nomadic tents and check points. There is an opportunity to see the first view of Mt. Kailash before continuing drive to Manasarovar Lake where we spend overnight there at local guest house or hotel.
Day 7: Lake Manasarovar to Darchen (4800m, 80km)
Morning have having tea; have a holy bath in Manasarovar lake and doing Hawan – a praying ceremony until in the afternoon. After Hawan, and have Prasad –sacred meals prepared by our Nepali crew and drive to Darchen is the base camp of Kailash trek. Overnight at guest house or hotel.
Day 8: Kailash Circuit Trek -Darchen to Dirapuk (4920m, 16km)
Breakfast and drive to Tarboche, the Kailash trek starting point by jeep or bus for 10km and trek to Dirapuk for 6km. It is an easy walk takes 4/5 hours. Dirapuk is that point from where you can see a very close and nice view of mount Kailash north face. Overnight at guest house at Dirapuk.
Day 9: Kailash Kora Trek – Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk (4850m, 22km)
The hardest day of Kailash Pilgrimage tour which is 22km, it takes 8/9 hours walk. We have steep trekked up to Droma La pass (5800m) for 3 hours. From the top of the pass, we trekked on steep downhill trail for 2 hours and then rest we trekked on river bank valley. You many have time to stop at Gaurikunda near the pass if you have enough energy. Overnight at guest house in Zuthulpuk.
Day 10: Kailash Circuit Trek: Darchen to Saga (4400m, 520km)
Breakfast and trek for 6km to the end point of Kora and continue drive to Saga where you would have a nice accommodation and meals in Saga. Overnight at guest house in Saga.
Day 11: Saga to Nyalam (3700m, 240km)
Drive back to Nyalam, and you can visit Milerapa cave if you would wish. Overnight at guest house in Nyalam.
Day 12: Nyalam to Kathmandu (1300m)
As usual, breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu. We stop for some time at Tibet/Nepal border to clearing out immigration process and then continue drive to Kathmandu.
Day 13: Kathmandu airport
Your Kailash tour package ends and we provide you final transfer to Kathmandu airport to get flight back to home or you could extend your tour. We would be happy to counsel you for your extended holidays.

Trek Gear List: No need to bring unnecessary trekking equipment with you for Kailash tour. The following kailash tour equipment and gears are recommended before Kailash tour. Most of the Kailash Tour equipment what you will need can be rented or purchased  in Lhasa either in Kathmandu or  Lhasa at cheap price. We will help you with the necessary arrangements. Except your day pack all the luggage will be carried by porters. There is an allowance of 15 kg per person. Additional personal items not needed for the trekking part of the trip can be stored in the storage room of hotel without extra cost.
