Accommodation during Kathmandu Trek
Accommodations are consisting of 3 star hotel accommodations with breakfast in the city like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Nagarkot, Lumbini, Bandipur and Dhulikhel. The basic neat and clean tea house accommodation will be in the trekking. The rooms are basic, normally just a bed with a pillow and blankets.
All tea houses have a large dining room. We send one of our staff ahead to book the necessary rooms for the group (rooms cannot book in advance in all places). In Kathmandu there is 4-5 star luxury accommodation available as well so, if you prefer to upgrade your accommodation in Kathmandu then please let us know for the cost and the detail.
Meals on Kathmandu Trek
Meals are included in our packages; we will provide you breakfast and dinner at the lodge where you stay and lunch at the lodge available along the trail during your trek. You can find variety of Nepalese and Westerner food as well as drinks (coffee, tea, milk, soft drinks, and beer) – the drinks are not included in our packages cost.
Kathmandu Trek Cost
Kathmandu Trek cost ranges from USD 390 to USD 450 per person. In the package price, it includes guide, transfer, accommodations, meals-breakfast, lunch and dinner, permits and taxes, but the drinks and personal expenses are excluded.

The trek price is different due to accommodation in Kathmandu and other cities, mode of transportation like car/van/bus/flights, number of crew members like guides porters, Sherpas, Cook/s, travelling season and the extra services. The itinerary can also be customized to suit the duration of your holiday. Similarly hotels can be upgraded depending on your budget.
Best Time trek in Kathmandu
Kathmandu trek is possible all around the year. Autumn, Spring and Winter is the best time trek around Kathmandu valley. The weather is sunny, nice and warm in the day and night are colder in winter that other season. The best weather lasts from September after the monsoon through to Jun and the mountains are best admired, with greater air clarity in the autumn. Spring from mid Mar-May is cool and often stormy. Autumn is from Oct to mid Nov with clear skies, warm days and cool sometimes cold nights. In the rainy season, it can rain at any time of the day.

Our guide speak English fluently. Your guide will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to local people.
Kathmandu Trek group size
We do organize both private and group trek in Kathmandu. There will be 1 to 30 people in the group. The groups are consisting of Children above 10 years old, adult and senior, both boys and girls from different parts of the world. For minors travelling with a guardian over 21 years old, the minimum age is 12.
Entry requirements-Passport and Visa
You’ll need a valid passport, a minimum of 6 months validity, so remember to check the expiry date.
Please, carry a copy of the photo page of your passport while travelling and leaving a copy at home with family or friends.
All foreign nationals (except Indian passport holders) require a visa to enter Nepal. Visas are obtainable from embassies abroad, land borders (including India and Tibet), and on arrival at Kathmandu-TIA airport.
Getting a visa at the airport or land borders can sometimes take time due to long queues. There have been instances when travelers are asked to show proof of exit from the country, i.e. flight tickets. You may also need to provide two passport photos and the following fees in US dollars (subject to change, cash only).
Your visa application form may require you to state the dates on which you enter and exit the country.

Passport and visa
Your passport should be a minimum of 6 months validity and you will get Nepal visa on arrival at Kathmandu-TIA airport. Multiple entry visa valid for 15 days costs US$ 30, 30 days costs US$ 50 and 90 days costs US$125.
Tipping
Tipping is customary your guide and driver. Tips are greatly appreciated as a gesture of thanks for their professionalism and leadership during your trip. The amount is entirely a personal preference; however, as a guideline, tip is from $10 USD-$15 USD per person per day are advisable.
Money Matter
USD is also widely accepted in Nepal. ATMs can only be found in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Bhaktapur. Make sure you carry sufficient cash in Nepal rupees to cover your needs when travelling outside Kathmandu. Credit cards are not widely accepted. The old, torn, and fade notes is very difficult to exchange at banks and money exchange. Please ensure that you have new and clean notes.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is compulsory so that it covers personal liability, cancellation, loss of luggage and personal effects.
Solo Travelers
Solo travelers should not have to pay more to travel joining in group trips. The single travelers joining in trips are provided in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of same sex.

Everest Mountain Flight is an option tour. Enjoy an early morning flight on a small aircraft with a window seat for an hour of spectacular scenery and the tallest mountain peak on earth. You will be able to view some of the most incredible, and famous sights that Nepal has to offer. This is weather permitting tour might be delayed or an alternative day may schedule. It costs USD 260 per person including airport transfer.
