Trip Information - Panchase Hill Trek

Panchase Hill Trek Package

We offer budget, standard and full fledged trekking package to Panchase. In the package price, guide, permit, accommodation and meals are all inclusive. We make sure a good value for money and a great trek option for beginners to seniors and family with kids.

Panchase  Hill Trek Difficulty

The paths are mostly in good condition. No technical skills are required, walking is pretty straightforward. The physical effort required, it clearly helps to be as fit as possible. Saying that, you don’t have to be an athlete, far from it.

People of all ages and levels of fitness can join Panchase Trek. The key point to remember, walk at your own pace. Over the course of the trek, you ascend from 700 m to 2600 m. The trek route involves plenty of up and down–descending to cross the river, ascending again, then repeating the process further along the trail.

Panchase Peak Trek Permit

For Panchase homestay trek, you need two permits-the TIMS card, the Trekkers information management card and the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP) permit. It costs USD 50 for the permit. We will take care of your trek permit. For this, we need your scanned passport copy and two passport size photos. Both, the entry permits are valid only for one entry.

Panchase Hill Trek Accommodation

Along Panchase Trek, accommodation will be at homestay known as tea houses. Rooms generally are more basic with two single beds, pillows and blankets are always provided. The sleeping bag is nice to bring with you. Things like hot showers and WIFI are common, but you need to pay an extra cost.

Food on Panchase Peak Trek

The food is often quite good. Food and drink on Panchase Trek is similar to what you find on Nepal’s other treks. You have to eat dinner and breakfast at tea houses you stay. Lunch will generally be at a different place somewhere along the trail. You will get Dalbhat-a Nepali set meals form of lentils, veg curry, pickle and rice. The soup, pasta, fried rice, momos, pizza and noodles are available in Lunch and dinner. For the breakfast, porridge, pancake, omlette, boiled egg, and various breads (Tibetan bread, buckwheat bread, chapatis, and so on) are available.

For drink, you will get black tea and coffee to Masala tea, lemon ginger honey tea, and hot chocolate, bottle of water, beer, whisky for an extra cost.

Panchase Peak Trek Cost

The Panchase Trek price offer from USD 350 to USD 650. It includes all transfer, accommodation, meals, permits, and hotel in Pokhara before and after the trek.

Wifi:
Wifi is available in the tea houses along the trail. It may charge for using internet and WiFi is slow speeds. The costs anywhere from $4 to $6 to use WiFi at the guesthouses.

Sim Cards
4G sim cards and data package can be bought in Kathmandu and Pokhara. They’re great in city but as soon as you leave city, the coverage is patchy. We recommend Nepal Telecom and Ncell for 3G/4G coverage. It’s safe to say that in the mountains, neither are really any good.

Electricity:
There are electricity available along trail to charge your power banks, camera, and phone. The key is to get a fat power bank. Pay to charge your power bank. Your power bank lets you charge your phone and camera batteries. Most of the places you stay let you charge your gear for an extra cost.

Season for Panchase Trek

Spring, Autumn and Winter are best season to go for Panchase Trek. March/April and October/November are peak hiking season due to best weather conditions. The trekking routes gets very busy.

Insurance for Panchase Trek

Travel insurance is highly recommended for Panchase Trek. There is also a risk on the trails for rock falls, avalanches and other mishaps. When selecting a travel insurance policy please bear in mind that all clients must have medical coverage of USD 200,000 for repatriation and emergency rescue. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

Had an Amazing Time! I did a one day hike with Jitendra to explore the countryside of Kathmandu and enjoy some beautiful scenery of the Himalayas. It was incredible! Jitendra was so friendly and helpful. He shared a lot of information about the history of Nepal and its connection to spirituality including Buddhism and Hinduism, something I'm very interested in. The views and sceneries along the hike were spectacular. The Namo Buddha temple at the end of the hike was the cherry on top. It was phenomenal. I loved everything and had a great time Jitendra. I will definitely book another tour here again. I highly recommend.

Our amazing experience with Mission Eco Trek! My trip with missionecotrek impressed me to lengths. My dad and I were taken such well off we were shocked with how kind and helpful our Guide Sundar was. Mr Jitendra was also very helpful, always communicating and checking up on us throughout our trip. We decided to go for Pikey Peak Trek, unfortunately we couldnt reach the peak due to our unfamiliarity with the cold weather. We requested to tweak our original itinerary and change it to something more free and easy and Mr Sundar and Jitendra Sir were very understanding and helpful with all the arrangements. I will definitely travel to nepal with missionecotrek again and will definitely recommend them to everyone! Do give them a chance to impress and sweep you off uour feet with nepals beauty! Their prices are very reasonable and they are very reliable to work with!

Day trip from Kathmandu via Dhuhikhel to Namobuddha and Panauti Great day trip from Dhuhikhel to Namobuddha with our guide Jitendra.Initially a bit strenuous as we had to climb 1000 steps and were rewarded with a great view of the Himalayan mountains. We continued through villages with a lot of agriculture. Panauti is a very old town. Impressive. Our guide put a lot of effort into it, told a lot of interesting things and answered all our questions Very lovable guide and we can recommend him without restriction.

Manaslu/Tsum Valley Trek We did the Manaslu + Tsum Valley Trek including some sightseeing days in Kathmandu with Mission Eco Trek and what should I say - it was a perfectly organized trip and we really enjoyed it.Already the planning from Germany was totally easy and unproblematic. We got in contact with Jitendra and within some days we got back a perfect plan for our trip. In general the contact with Jitendra was from the beginning to the end well organized, professional but at the same time super friendly and caring. He answered to all our messages super fast and also on-site during the trips in Kathmandu he adjusted everything to our wishes and always made sure we are feeling well. For our actual trip to Manaslu we had Sundar as a guide and Sanukanchha as a porter. Both of them were a really good team together and we enjoyed the time with them and felt always perfectly taking care of. Especially Sundar was super kind, always calm and no matter which problem we had - He always found a solution. During the trip he made sure we are fine during the hikes, gave the right walking speed for us, organized the best rooms and also made sure they are ok for us and never left a wish open. In the evenings he always explained what is the plan for the next days and checked if it is fine for us. Besides that he shared with us his enormous knowledge about the mountains and the way of life in there - you could really feel how much he enjoys being in the mountains. All in all I totally recommend booking directly with Mission Eco Trek. First of all the organisation of the trip by Jitendra is stress-free, flexible and super friendly. Secondly with the guiding by Sundar we felt safe, taken care of and always in good hands. And third by directly booking there we knew that we do not pay any eurpean agency but pay the persons that actually made this trip unforgetably nice!

Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley trek We had a wonderful experience with Mission Eco Trek during our Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley trek. Already before we came to Nepal, we knew we were in good hands. The owner Jitendra provided a detailed itinerary and packing list, and he promptly answered all our questions. It was his idea to include Tsum Valley in our plan as we had enough time and it was absolutely worth it.We started the trip with a two-day tour of Kathmandu getting to know the main sights before heading off on the trek. The trek itself was well planned but also allowed for some flexibility. Our guide Sundar was fantastic! He kept a slow and steady pace, so that we could keep up, and shared facts about the surrounding mountains during our breaks. Each evening, he briefed us about the next day’s route, making sure we were well prepared and feel fit for another day of trekking. We always felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for with him.We would definitely use the Mission Eco Trek again on our next trip to Nepal.

Fantastic 4 day Pikey Peak trek A fantastic experience from start to finish. Jitendra was helpful, organised and friendly, very easy to work with. Our guide Sundar was super! He arranged everything very well for us and made sure we were always happy. He was so kind and a genuinely lovely man. The short trek itself was worth the long bumpy drive from Kathmandu. We stayed in simple, clean tea houses all which had really good food. We were fortunate to have the most amazing views from Pikey peak for sunrise on the 3rd day. We opted for a longer walk on day 3 to get us back to kathmandu earlier on day 4. Don't hesitate to book if you're short on time but still want to see amazing views of the Himalayas (weather permitting)!
