EXCELLENTVerified Had an Amazing Time! I did a one day hike with Jitendra to explore the countryside of Kathmandu and enjoy some beautiful scenery of the Himalayas. It was incredible! Jitendra was so friendly and helpful. He shared a lot of information about the history of Nepal and its connection to spirituality including Buddhism and Hinduism, something I'm very interested in. The views and sceneries along the hike were spectacular. The Namo Buddha temple at the end of the hike was the cherry on top. It was phenomenal. I loved everything and had a great time Jitendra. My trip with missionecotrek impressed me to lengths. My dad and I were taken such well off we were shocked with how kind and helpful our Guide Sundar was. Mr Jitendra was also very helpful, always communicating and checking up on us throughout our trip. We decided to go for Pikey Peak Trek, unfortunately we couldnt reach the peak due to our unfamiliarity with the cold weather. We requested to tweak our original itinerary and change it to something more free and easy and Mr Sundar and Jitendra Sir were very understanding and helpful with all the arrangements. We continued through villages with a lot of agriculture. Panauti is a very old town. Impressive. Our guide put a lot of effort into it, told a lot of interesting things and answered all our questions Very lovable guide and we can recommend him without restriction.Posted onVerified Manaslu/Tsum Valley Trek We did the Manaslu + Tsum Valley Trek including some sightseeing days in Kathmandu with Mission Eco Trek and what should I say - it was a perfectly organized trip and we really enjoyed it.Already the planning from Germany was totally easy and unproblematic. We got in contact with Jitendra and within some days we got back a perfect plan for our trip. In general the contact with Jitendra was from the beginning to the end well organized, professional but at the same time super friendly and caring. He answered to all our messages super fast and also on-site during the trips in Kathmandu he adjusted everything to our wishes and always made sure we are feeling well. For our actual trip to Manaslu we had Sundar as a guide and Sanukanchha as a porter. Both of them were a really good team together and we enjoyed the time with them and felt always perfectly taking care of. Especially Sundar was super kind, always calm and no matter which problem we had - He always found a solution. During the trip he made sure we are fine during the hikes, gave the right walking speed for us, organized the best rooms and also made sure they are ok for us and never left a wish open. In the evenings he always explained what is the plan for the next days and checked if it is fine for us. Besides that he shared with us his enormous knowledge about the mountains and the way of life in there - you could really feel how much he enjoys being in the mountains.All in all I totally recommend booking directly with Mission Eco Trek. First of all the organisation of the trip by Jitendra is stress-free, flexible and super friendly. Secondly with the guiding by Sundar we felt safe, taken care of and always in good hands.And third by directly booking there we knew that we do not pay any eurpean agency but pay the persons that actually made this trip unforgetably nice!Posted onVerified Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley trek We had a wonderful experience with Mission Eco Trek during our Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley trek. Already before we came to Nepal, we knew we were in good hands. The owner Jitendra provided a detailed itinerary and packing list, and he promptly answered all our questions. It was his idea to include Tsum Valley in our plan as we had enough time and it was absolutely worth it.We started the trip with a two-day tour of Kathmandu getting to know the main sights before heading off on the trek. The trek itself was well planned but also allowed for some flexibility. Our guide Sundar was fantastic! He kept a slow and steady pace, so that we could keep up, and shared facts about the surrounding mountains during our breaks. Each evening, he briefed us about the next day’s route, making sure we were well prepared and feel fit for another day of trekking. We always felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for with him.We would definitely use the Mission Eco Trek again on our next trip to Nepal.Posted onVerified Fantastic 4 day Pikey Peak trek A fantastic experience from start to finish. Jitendra was helpful, organised and friendly, very easy to work with. Our guide Sundar was super! He arranged everything very well for us and made sure we were always happy. He was so kind and a genuinely lovely man. The short trek itself was worth the long bumpy drive from Kathmandu. We stayed in simple, clean tea houses all which had really good food. We were fortunate to have the most amazing views from Pikey peak for sunrise on the 3rd day. We opted for a longer walk on day 3 to get us back to kathmandu earlier on day 4.
